Bodrum, ancient Halicarnassus, with a history spanning millennia. We recommend visiting the Castle of St. Peter, said to have been built using stones from the ancient Mausoleum, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Embarkation will take place at 4:00 PM, with a welcome cocktail and an introduction to the captain and crew.
Afterwards, we will sail to a nearby bay for swimming, snorkeling, and overnight anchorage. Alternatively, guests may choose to spend the night in the harbour.
Arrival in Kos in the morning, with the opportunity to explore the town. The city features a 14th-century fortress at the entrance of its harbour, built in 1315 by the Knights of St. John of Rhodes.
It is believed that the ancient physician Hippocrates was born in Kos, and in the centre of the town stands the famous Tree of Hippocrates.
We can enjoy lunch on board or sail to a bay in Kos or Pserimos for swimming and overnight anchorage.
We set sail for Leros, a mountainous and the greenest of the northern Dodecanese islands, offering beautiful anchoring opportunities in bays such as Xirokambos further south.
Sailing north, we will reach the charming town of Pandeli. It’s worth going ashore to explore its streets, filled with restaurants and small shops. We will continue a bit further north to Aya Marina or Lakki.
For the more adventurous, scooters can be rented to explore the island and visit its sights.
The harbour and only settlement of Lipsi is the eponymous village, characterized by white houses with blue doors and windows, giving it a unique charm.
Among its attractions are St. John’s Church and the Nikoforeio Ecclesiastical Museum.
Lipsi is the name of a group of small islands where tranquility reigns, perhaps due to the limited tourism.
Patmos Island is one of the most famous and beautiful islands in Greece. Despite its small size, it is a major tourist attraction, offering a captivating mix of fine sandy beaches and dramatic cliffs.
We will arrive at Scala Harbour, one of the main small towns on Patmos, located just a few kilometres from Chora.
Between the two towns lies the Cave of the Apocalypse, an important site for Christians. It is also worth visiting the Monastery of St. John, an impressive citadel overlooking the island.
Our destination today is Kalymnos Island, known as the “Island of Sponges” due to the fishing activity of its inhabitants. The island’s capital is Pothia, a lively town with brightly coloured houses surrounding the harbour.
The island also has other fascinating villages, such as Vathi, set in a fertile valley full of citrus trees; to the west, Massouri, Mirties, Kamari, and Panormos, where you can enjoy their famous seafood specialties.
Among the most beautiful beaches, we highlight Massouri, Emporios, and Arginondas along the western coast, and Vlyhadia in the south.
On the way back to the Turkish coast, we will stop for a swim and lunch at Vlyhadia Bay, in Pserimos, or on the northern beach of Kos, depending on the weather.
We will reach Turkish waters in the afternoon to anchor off Bodrum or in the harbour.
Disembarkation will take place the following morning after breakfast.
